With sessions in both North and South Bristol, the academy delivers professional-standard coaching that sharpens technique, builds confidence, and mirrors the demands of the modern game.
The Academy is aimed at high-level grassroots goalkeepers who are looking to improve their technical handling, tactical understanding, and physical elements of their game. Sessions are designed to complement players’ existing training and match schedules with their schools and clubs — not replace them.
From shot-stopping and handling to footwork, positioning, and distribution, every session focuses on developing the decision-making, game intelligence, and consistency needed to perform at the next level.
Our South Bristol centre runs every Friday evening at the Imperial Sports Ground 4G, providing high-quality, specialist goalkeeper training led by Bristol City Academy coaches Dean Gerken and Aaron Sainsbury.
These sessions are tailored for male and female goalkeepers aged 8-16 years olds who want to take their game to the next level.
Our North Bristol goalkeeper academy runs every Monday evening at MB Frames Stadium (Hallen AFC), offering high-quality training for goalkeepers aged U8 to U16.
